In this project, students will...
- Research an African American and create a biographical poster
- Record notes on a research planning page
- Transfer this information to shape cut outs for their posters
- Cut and paste their information shapes and photos onto a poster board of any size
- Poster shapes include space for students to write about what they have learned, important dates and places, and add a photo of the person they have researched

- Rubric includes points for punctuation, capitalization, and the inclusion of a photo or drawing of the person.

- Posters can be presented to an audience and displayed for all to see and learn from!
